Tibetan Homes Foundation (THF) is a registered charity established by His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso the 14th Dalai Lama soon after his escape from Tibet in 1959. The Foundation was started in 1962 and is based in Mussoorie, India, a popular hill station in the lower Himalayas, where His Holiness the Dalai Lama first established the Tibetan Government-in-Eexile before shifting to Dharamsala.
